Making a game about how pretentious art games are is the most pretentious thing ever but i enjoyed the playable credits and the 'see what people are saying behind your back' mechanic so it's a good game.

Stop being pretentious.

This is the hereditary retardation of platform hell games.
A genre that's meant to be a parody of platformers, stewing in creative reimagination of what should be considered dangerous in a platformer.
This on the other hand is just elements of the imaginative games before it streamlined into a pathetic formula.
Rule of thumb: if players aren't going "LOL WOW! DID NOT EXPECT THAT" then you're not doing it right.

I would recommend you go play Owata so you can see the origins of the craft.

glad you liked it while it lasted! yeah it's very short.. but we knew the first one would be. just wanted to see what we were capable of (which we now realise is much more!) and get a game out quick to see what people thought. next game will definitely be longer and far more interactive (albeit at the cost of being a bigger filesize).

I really liked the game except...

...whyd you go and have all those loading screens? Its freakin annoying. Just load everything at the beginning. I have a 56k and i rather have one large load at the start then a 30 second load inbetween every room.

Woo, a good game.

There was another smash bros type game a week or so ago that people were fawning over that was programmed horribly and was just a straight rip-off of smash bros.
This however is highly-competent programming, with cool original characters, a simple control scheme and overall just freaking fun game to play.
The flash world needs more stuff like this (not-shitty games).

Poor execution of an unoriginal idea.

I was expecting something good after all those menus but...
The physics and hitTesting was horrible, and the camera following all that horrible physics is nauseating.
Hitting enemies and being hit by enemies from a mile away (without using a longrange attack) is just pathetic.
I like the simplified controls but you should allow players to map it to whichever keys they like....playing with O and P is fine for a 2 player game i guess but i wanna use A and S on my own (how many people actually play flash games with other people?).

Oh and the voice actor doing the announcing sucks.
