That's how I play it.
To be fair, there was a certain amount of frustration in the lack of direction ... but if that was the purpose, in order to create a sense of satisfaction in figuring out things, then it worked.
But I enjoy difficult games.
It was pretty obvious, though, the reviewer was going out of their way to PROVE how awkward your game was ... and by doing so, only proved how much he sucked at games.
I kept screaming at the video: "Shut up, take a second to figure it out, and move on!!!"
How not to play: while talking into a microphone.
I've seen some E3 videos do the same mistake when demoing that new Super Mario game.

not to sound rude, but posting this makes it look like you cant take a critique, sure he goes alittle of topic, but you give no info as to what you are suppose to do in this game, you put items in random areas and just put alot of unneeded things in it, where you could make the background look abit better, and make a tutorial, and make it abit easier to play and make it harded as you go, not making it really hard on just the first level, even maybe give it abit of a background story, not just tossing you into it with knowing anything, having save points might help too so you dont have to keep going on the main page.
Anyway i think this game could use some work.

Actually you were pretty good when i had you playtest stuff. You figured out the intricacies of in-air turning right away.
